Some of the sketches I made in The Burren while staying in the studio of the artist couple Ank&Els in Kilmoon. Beginning in 2014 I stayed there every year for a week except in 2019 when I wasn’t in Ireland at all. In 2020 I was there twice during my ‘staycation’ when I could not go back to the Netherlands.
Een paar van de schetsen die ik maakte tijdens mijn bezoeken aan de Burren waar ik logeerde in de studio van het kunstenaarspaar Ank&Els in Kilmoon. Beginnend in 2014 kwam ik er ieder jaar voor een week, behalve in 2019 toen ik helemaal niet in Ierland was. In 2020 toen ik niet naar Nederland kon, was ik er twee keer op ‘staycation’ .
